As pointed out on The Ally and Joanna Show, Sabrina the Teenage Witch is getting a weird reboot. The character popularized by Melissa Joan Hart in the 1990s and early 2000s is getting a makeover. She will now be Sabrina the Teenage
How does this even make sense?
According to Deadline it will be “a live-action reboot that’ll be an origin story in the vein of Spider-Man, about a young girl coming to terms with her remarkable powers,” and it will also feature Salem the witty, wise-cracking cat.
Personally, I would love to see Sabrina back on TV, but I’m not sure why she has to be “super.” Isn’t being a teenager and a witch hard enough? Didn’t we get an origin story with the Sabrina the Teenage Witch movie? And what about her aunts? Will there still be toaster mail? Is she going to get a radioactive witch bite or something?
I have many questions.
What do you guys think? Excited about Sabrina the Teenage
Witch Superhero? Or do you wish it would just stay in the other realm?
